2026 marks ten years of Amphis, a decade of lighting homes, workplaces and shared spaces through collaboration and considered design.

For ten years, we’ve helped shape how people experience the places that matter most.

Ten years ago, Amphis began with just three of us and a simple idea — that lighting could be done better, with more care, more thought, and a deeper understanding of how spaces truly feel.

What started as a small operation has grown into a business working across residential and commercial industries, partnering with builders, designers, electricians and architects to shape the environments people live and work in every day.

It all began in this warehouse back in 2016. There was barely enough room to walk around and no shelving in sight.

Seeing our products in a real space for the first time — a Metricon display home.

Our first proper studio shoot — after months of shooting in a DIY setup tucked into the back of the warehouse.

Building our product portfolio in the early days. We still create boards like this in the studio today.

By 2018 we had grown and needed to expand into a larger warehouse in Tullamarine.

Our first real-world showcase — setting up at Selections and seeing Amphis on display.

2019 marked our first foray into commercial projects, collaborating with Cera Stribley on St Hubert's winery.

2020 saw the launch of Studio Amphis in Malvern — a dedicated space for education, collaboration and connection.

Growth didn’t slow down. We expanded into an additional warehouse site in Tullamarine in 2021, and again in 2023 and 2025.

2023 was a landmark year. Amphis acquired LSI Hamilton, boosting our footprint in the commercial sector. Ampol Pheasants Nest was our first project following the expansion.

In 2025, we introduced a curated selection of European brands and debuted Amphis’s first flagship collection, Modera.

In 2026, Amphis celebrates ten years in business - ten years of illuminating life!
