Meet our 2026 lighting additions

The latest additions to the Amphis collection are united by a simple idea: good design should last. Trends will always influence the way we think about interiors, but our focus is on creating lighting that feels relevant well beyond the moment.

As Rebecca Barker, Amphis’s product manager, puts it, “our focus remains on creating lighting that feels enduring, rather than momentary.”

The new pieces take cues from organic shapes, natural textures and architectural design. Each piece has its own character, but they’re all designed to work effortlessly within contemporary spaces.

The warmth of Japandi

Kara and Nami take inspiration from the warmth and restraint of Japandi design. Both bring a softer, sculptural quality to interiors, with textured finishes that interact beautifully with light.

“Japandi continues to resonate because it isn't trend driven in the traditional sense. Much like Scandinavian design, it evolves over time rather than coming and going,” Rebecca explains.

Kara has an organic silhouette and a textured white finish that glows from within. Its three variants can be hung alone or combined to create a statement over dining tables and in voids.

Nami takes a more fluid approach, with a gentle, wave-like silhouette that brings movement to a space. With two sizes to choose from, it works beautifully on its own or grouped together for greater impact.

“The play on light and shadow is something I'm particularly drawn to,” says Rebecca. It’s this interplay of light, texture and shape that gives both ranges their sense of calm.

Decorative lighting, outdoors

Outdoor spaces are becoming more expressive, with colour, decorative forms and considered lighting bringing more personality outside.

“Exterior lights are becoming less about functionality and more about creating the same sense of warmth, personality and atmosphere we look for inside the home,” says Rebecca.

This shift is opening up new possibilities for decorative lighting. Bellport and Montauk bring a more decorative quality to exterior spaces, while Spot and Split explore the way light itself can become part of the design.

“I love how these new pieces bring more personality to outdoor lighting without feeling overly decorative.”

Simplicity, function and form: Arki

Arki takes a more architectural direction, with a clean silhouette designed around flexibility.

“Arki is architectural, minimal and incredibly purposeful in its design. What makes the collection so compelling is its balance of form and function," shares Rebecca.

Its adjustable heads make it easy to direct light exactly where it’s needed, while the streamlined design keeps the overall look refined. Arki works across residential and commercial spaces, bringing a practical approach to lighting without losing its visual appeal.

Designed to endure

Across the new collection, the emphasis is on lighting that adds to a space without dating it.

“What continues to resonate with me across these emerging directions is the move toward simplicity with intention,” Rebecca says. “Lighting is becoming less about excess and more about creating atmosphere, softness and connection within a space.”

That’s the thinking behind these latest additions: lighting made to live with, not simply look good for a season.
